Dr. Gonzalez earned her Master of Fine Arts Louisiana State University with a specializing in multimedia and motion graphics and her Doctoral degree in Information Systems and Communications from Robert Morris University. Currently, she serves as a Visiting Program Coordinator of the Abriendo Caminos Program (USDA-NIFA) for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
In 2020, she became Illini Certified Research Administrator (CRA) for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. SPaRC’Ed, a program lead by the Sponsored Programs and Research Compliance (SPaRC).”
From 2012 to 2015, she worked in the financial sector as a Project Manager for Financial Technology and as a Senior Risk and Diligence analyst. In 2005, she became an Assistant Professor at Robert Morris University, where she taught Web Design, Multimedia, and Independent studies. She also held an academic position as the Latin-American Affairs Coordinator, which help to promote enrollment in the Latin-American communities around Pennsylvania. In her job as a Media Arts Internship Coordinator, she developed links with local and new employers to support the RMU internship program and increasing professional opportunities for students.
